Longfield were asked to visit Fellowes european HQ to discuss the email communication requirements for Fellowes. In particular Fellowes had identified that with Microsoft Transporter (native SMTP communication) appointment emails would become corrupt when travelling from their new Domino environment to the US based Exchange Servers.
The areas of concern were:
1. The address list would include Notes specific data when arriving at Outlook users desktop.
2. Duplication of items in the address list
3. Loss of users in the address list
4. In ability for delegate (PA's typically) to open appointments and reply.
Longfield being the only Binary Tree partner in the world with the ability to deploy CMT CoExistence, already had an indepth understanding of these problems. We put together some screen casts of CMT CoExistence in action, covering all the areas of concern for Fellowes, using our own test bed. These screen casts convinced Fellowes that CMT CoExistence was the only solution.
Within a short period of time, a few weeks, we had deployed CMT CoExistence in their production environment and allowed the Domino CRM project to proceed.
