Longfield Ltd was formed in 1994, as a company to provide email expertise. The Directors of the company had worked on many of the products that had existed in the market place over the previous 5 years, including cc:Mail, MSmail, DEC ALL-IN-1, Notes R3, various email gateways and directory synchronisation system and most exotic of all DEC MAILbus 400.
Longfield Ltd have been a Binary Tree partner since 1998. We have developed our migration skills since then and now lead the way with the Binary Tree CMT Product range.
Starting out in 1998 with with a project at TNT, there environment had both Notes and Exchange Server installed, the platform used was dependant upon the division of the organisation. Our first migration from to move the smaller Exchange Server community to Notes. We used CMT for Notes and in the words of a senior manager at TNT "im amazed it worked". Back in 1998 moving email systems was cutting edge.
More recently CMT CoExistence, which glues Exchange Server and Domino networks together, remedating calendaring and allow Outlook users to access Notes applications, Notes document links and Notes encrypted messages without re-engineering your Notes environment, has allowed Longfield to become a leading CoExistence specialist in Europe.
CMT CoExistence, the flag ship product, is the most advanced CoExistence solution in the market place today, with its competitors still lacking Exchange 2010 support. Longfield worked with CMT CoExistence while the product was in beta at the begining of 2010. This provide Longfield with a head start in the migration and coexistence martket place and have already deployed a number of CMT CoExistence since its formal release in April 2010.
